This committee (the ‘ACC) is made up of 7 volunteer homeowners who oversee and insure that each home within the community is maintained to the standards set forth in “The Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions for the Plat of Echo Falls Country Club” (C&Rs). Each homeowner receives a copy of the C&Rs during escrow closing. The ACC Liaison (a voted member of the board) participates in ACC meetings and reports to the board of directors.
The ACC is responsible for reviewing and approving plans for new homes and any changes a homeowner wishes to make to an existing home (external) or landscaping. The purpose is to preserve the high standards of design and maintenance in our neighborhood.
The committee tries to accommodate individual homeowner’s desire while considering the impact on neighbors and community. An example would be a major change to backyard landscaping. The ACC would review the plans for grading, hardscapes, plants and shrubbery and also take into account any adjoining lot concerns, such as sight lines, changes to drainage patterns, and any restrictions imposed on golf course lots. Minor changes such as replacing small plantings would normally not require ACC intervention. Other common examples where ACC review and approval would be required are repainting your home with a change to the existing color scheme or roof replacement.
If you are considering making any changes or additions to your home or landscaping contact the ACC via the EF Website or ACC@ECHOFALLSHOA.COM. You will be provided with a project application form which must be filled out and submitted for review and approval.
The C&Rs and other documents listed below which govern the ACC’s operations can be found on the EF Website under the HOMEOWNERS tab:
– ACC RULES & REGULATIONS
– HOME AND PROPERTY MAINTENANCE GUIDE
– PROJECT APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The ACC invites and encourages you to review them, ask questions, submit ideas or express your concerns. Also, please voice any interest you may have in participating. It’s a rewarding way to support your neighborhood while meeting and working with your neighbors.
